Dr. Holljes graduated in 1972 with a Bachelors degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland.While attending the University of Maryland Dr Holljes received top academic honors including the Mosby Scholarship Award for achievement in Human Gross Anatomy,a Certificate of Achievement from the American Academy of Oral Medicine and Department of Oral Diagnosis and acceptance into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the Omicron Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Gorgas Odontological Society.

Dr Holljes spends much of his free time attending continuing education courses and lectures. He has been in private practice since 1988 and has been practicing in Lutherville for 18 years. Dr Holljes is happily married and enjoys spending time with family.
